My gallery: Space to work and to exhibit

Time sure flies by, don’t you think? I remember moving into my current gallery/atelier in November 2000 like it was yesterday. The grand opening was enacted by the mayor of Terneuzen, Jan Lonink.

With the motto, ‘shards bring luck’ (a Dutch saying,) he smashed one of my vases into pieces against the wall. The grand opening brought a lot of attention, because it was the first gallery to open in the village of Philippine.

Shards brought luck to my gallery!

The shards of the mayor brought luck indeed. I have been able to settle in and develop my workplace and gallery quickly, and create many artworks. There have been dozens of exhibitions. In the future, I will also shed light on my most early developments. Will you visit sometime soon? Click here to see the current and past exhibitions.
